Recovering from a stroke, brain injury, or spinal cord injury is no small task.
You’ve done hours upon hours of hard work to reach your goal of returning home. But applying everything you learned in rehab to your daily life isn’t as easy as it sounded. You’re also not as independent or as recovered as you hoped you’d be, even if you received home-health services after discharge. Asking others for help constantly isn’t something you want to do.
You crave autonomy and independence again — to contribute to your home and community.
You want to regain as much function as possible so you can live life to the fullest despite your recent health challenge.
Being home doesn’t mean your recovery has to stop.
You can continue to make progress — even after discharge from rehab or home health.
Independence, community engagement, and the ability to enjoy life again are all possible!
Reach Rehab creates a custom rehabilitation plan with you, so you can continue to regain function and independence.
We’ll connect with you and make sure we’re the right solution for your rehabilitation needs.
Next, we’ll obtain a referral from your doctor and schedule your first visit.
Then we’ll come to your home at the scheduled time and complete an evaluation.
During your evaluation and treatment sessions, we establish goals together and make a custom plan to help you achieve what’s most important to you.
Reach Rehab provides outpatient therapy services in your home. We can bill Medicare Part B or your insurance for outpatient services as long as you’re not receiving Home Health therapy/nursing services at the same time.
Reach Rehab provides specialized occupational therapy for neurological conditions such as Stroke (CVA), brain injuries (TBI), and spinal cord injuries (SCI.)
These neurological conditions are complex and each injury is unique. We provide custom neuro-rehab to ensure you recover to your fullest potential and regain function.
At Reach Rehab, we are passionate about rehabilitation for neurological conditions. We specialize in this area so we can provide the best treatments which lead to the best outcomes possible.
We believe you shouldn’t have to be in a large city to have access to neuro-specific therapy.
Specialized neuro-rehab with small-town connection — that’s our goal.
Occupational therapy at home allows you to work on tasks that are important to you in the place where you spend your time.
You won’t have to worry about transfers in and out of the car, weather, or driving to a clinic. As your recovery progresses, we can also meet you at the grocery store, your church, or anywhere else that you’d like to overcome obstacles and gain function. Even though we meet you at your home, we are considered outpatient services rather than home health services.
Occupational therapy outside the clinic and in the community means we can address your goals and your tasks — wherever you want to be!
I’ve spent most of my occupational therapy career working with people who have had strokes, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. I have worked in the full spectrum of rehabilitation — hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and home healthcare.
I am passionate about helping patients recover function and meaning in their lives, and I noticed a common barrier to this while I was working in the hospital and clinic environments.
Being in a clinic and simulating activities wasn’t nearly as effective as being in a person’s home environment where nothing is left to the imagination.
When people practice the tasks they want to do, in the environment they need to be in, with the actual tools they have — deep learning and growth occur.
Reach Rehabilitation was founded in 2015 so I could serve clients in a way I knew was most effective. It’s been a wonderful, rewarding journey.

As a mobile clinician, you will have flexibility with your schedule and caseload. You’ll also have mentorship as you build your skillset and gain confidence.
We are passionate about providing education and mentorship to up and coming clinicians. We frequently have occupational therapy students join us to complete their clinical internships.
Teaching new OTs about neuro-rehab elevates the field and increases the amount of well-trained, confident therapists providing these specialized treatments.
We also benefit from hosting students as they have new ideas, insights, and passion. We are always learning, and collaborations with graduating clinicians is a joy!
Do You Need Volunteer Hours for OT School?
If you are applying to OT school and need volunteer hours, please contact us. We aren’t able to accommodate every pre-OT student, but we will do our best to provide some shadowing experiences as our schedule and caseload allow.
We provide outpatient rehabilitation in your home and serve Helena and the surrounding areas. Meeting you where you are and focusing on your goals. Your rehabilitation journey isn’t over yet — we’re here to bring you to the next level of function and independence.
